We are a small kennel based in Devon with now only 2 dogs whom we show and work. We believe in rearing our Malamutes in our home to live with us and our children. They are part of our family first and foremost. Their temperaments are outstanding which for a Malamute should be your first consideration. I dont need to give my Kennel a long introduction as my dogs prove themselves when people visit. Dont except a puppy if you cannot for any reason interact with the pup and its Mother together. A Responsible Reputable breeder has a GOOD reputation if they are claiming this ask for references from another REPUTABLE Malamute Kennel. NEVER accept a puppy from a kennel that endorses crossbreeds and has several websites promoting their different breeds. Ask to be emailed specific pictures of the pup and its parents before visiting so you can check when you are there. NEVER pay a deposit before visiting and NEVER accept delivery as this usually means they dont want anyone on their premises. Breeding Licences are bought from Local Councils easily and are required for breeders breeding a large number of dogs Small kennels dont require a licence. This is general advice regarding buying a Malamute puppy from anywhere in the UK. Please heed it and we will stamp out puppy farming.
