MY BREEDING PAIR of Siberian Huskys Cochise and Kaysa had their first litter in November 2007 and two of the pups have been successfully shown at local level regularly coming first second or third. I plan to have a second litter late this summer pups will be ready to be homed around October 09 as I believe in leaving my bitch 18 months to 2 years in between litters to enable her to have a good rest.
Both my dogs are dearly loved family pets with super temperaments and compliment each other perfectly as a breeding pair. Cochise is grey and white with wolf like orange/brown eyes and Kaysa is almost pure white with beautiful blue eyes therefore they produce several very delicate wolf greys and silver pups. Both my dogs have been tested ophthalmocopically and gonioscopically to check for inherited cataract and goniodysgenesis and both have been found to have clear eye.
THE WOLF DEN PUPS
I endeavour to give my pups the best start possible and don’t like them to leave mum until around 10 weeks of age. They are weaned on ‘Eagle Pack’ a very expensive dog food and following much research I believe it to be the best quality on the market. Pups come accompanied with a photocopy of their grandmothers KC registration and a diet sheet they are usually vet checked follow a strict worming program and are well socialised. I like to keep in contact with the pups I breed and each year on their birthday I email or telephone for an update and I am always available to offer help and advice to owners on dietary or any other matter of which I can assist. I am very careful in homing my pups but at times with the best will in the world situations change or unforeseen problems arise and people find they can no longer cope with their husky. In those situations I always ask buyers to return the dog at any age of which I re-home and return payment. I usually sell pups for £500 which reflects the absence of KC papers.
COCHISE
I also stud out my male Cochise who is now a very experienced stud dog he has excellent conformation a good amount of bone a deep chest and large paws. My facilities consist of a secure compound with outdoor lighting and insulated kennels. My stud fee is £400 and in the interests of both parties this is payable on mating with the understanding that in the absence of conception fee is returned in full on occasions I accept one of the litter as payment.

We are a very small kennel in Somerset England we are Accredited Breeders with the English Kennel Cub. We have studied Siberian Huskies for over 20 years now and owning them for 12years. We not only breed we show and work our dogs. We only have litters available some times and potienional buyers will be asked some questions on the breed also they must be willing to sign a contract of sale and agree to all of our pups having endorsements placed on them so they will not be able to be bred from or be taken out of the country. We of course will lift these restrictions if all requirements are met. Which are the hip score eye tests are done prove to be satisfactory. The hip score of being 7 below each side the dog in question has no cateracts or has not inherited glycoma. All our breeding dogs have met all the requirments all certificates will be shown to the purchaser if requested.
We also operate a rescue center here for the breed. All rescue dogs are kept in the house with our own dogs or are out in the kennels with our own dogs treated as part of the family. They are only seperated if they are unwell. Again before rehoming a dog there are certain requirments which have to be met. If you are interested in rehoming a husky then please do contact us.
If you are thinking about owning this breed then please do lots of research before buying a puppy. They are not the easiest of breeds to own require alot of maintenance. If you would like any advise or help especially if you already own a husky then please do not hesitate to contact us and we will be more than willing to help.
