Krusty is a seven-year-old male Great Dane and Labrador crossbreed who came to The Mayhew because his owners moved house and could not take him with them. This gentle giant is very affectionate and is good with everyone he meets including children. He loves having his neck massaged and his bottom scratched. He knows basic commands and is responsive travels well in the car and can be left alone without any problems. He is an ideal house dog who is extremely well behaved indoors. He would easily suit a guardian who works part-time or someone working full-time if a dog walker was available to break up the day. Krusty is very playful and his favourite game is catching tennis balls on command - a skill he excels at. He also loves his teddies and his comforts and will try to sneak up onto the sofa when no one is looking. He dislikes other dogs and will need to wear a muzzle and a 100ft line when going for his off-lead walks. He will need at least one hour of off-lead exercise every day. Krusty is looking for a loving forever home with someone who has owned large breeds before. His new guardians will be taking on a eight-year commitment which must not be taken lightly.
