Alfie is a miniature smooth haired Daschund. He has a beautiful friendly temprament, extremely loyal, very playful and not at all yappy or agressive. He is really easy to train, for example he loves sleeping in his crate and even walks without a lead at times listening to voice commands. As seen from his photos, he is in superb condition. Fantastic with children and other animals.
Alfie is larger than the Kennel Club standards for a Miniature Smooth Dacshund, his mother was quite long and he was one of the largest in the litter. Although Alfie is a slighly larger miniature, I stress that he is not overweight, he is extremely fit, walking on average 5 miles a day, and stays at a constant weight of 7.5kg/16.5lb - I am sure mated with a smaller bitch she will produce fantastic puppies.
Alfies dad Zarosa Motivation was a Champ Show Winner and Cruft Class Winner.
