Glendream is a small and select in house kennel based on the east coast of Scotland. Our dogs are all pets first and foremost.
I have been involved with dogs my whole life, growing up with Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Terriers and Border Collies.
I have shown dogs since my early teens and have been very fortunate to have some fantastic successes with my dogs. I have made up three UK Champions.
My Border Collies are my passion and I campaign my dogs at open and championship level throughout the UK and Ireland. I dont breed many Border Collies and I only plan a litter when I am looking for something to keep for the show ring.
In addition to my Border Collies, I also breed Cavalier King Charles and Cocker Spaniels. I have bred Cavaliers in all four colours Black and Tan, Ruby, Tri Blenheim and I mainly concentrate on breeding particolour cocker spaniels Blue Roan, Chocolate Roan, Orange Roan and occasionally Solid Black and Chocolate. In Cavaliers, I have a Black and Tan boy and a Blenheim boy available at Stud. In Cockers, I have a Blue Roan boy standing at stud. More information of my stud boys can be found on their pages.
In general, the breeding side of things is an extension of the hobby and I usually plan a litter when I intend to keep something myself for the show ring or to carry on my breeding line. I dont always have puppies available and often have a waiting list. It is important to remember that when looking for the perfect puppy you may need to wait for a litter to be born. A reputable and responsible breeder does not have puppies available all the time and a quality, well bred puppy is well worth waiting for.
I am responsible for the puppies that I breed and, whenever necessary, I will take them back, at any stage of their life. I am always available on the telephone or by email to offer advice and answer any questions. ALL of my breeding stock have undergone the full relevant health tests before being bred from and I only ever breed from dogs with satisfactory results. There is an awful lot more to good dog breeding than playing happy families and I strive to produce healthy, happy dogs that are fit for function and fit for life.
Although my own personal interest is breed showing, I have bred Border Collies that have gone on to excel in many other spheres, such as flyball, agility, search/rescue and obedience, not to mention the many Cavaliers and Cocker Spaniels who are much loved family pets.

Cassie our gorgeous family pet is due to have her second litter of beautiful pups. The Dad to the pups is Otto Megastar at Dibrid and is Crufts qualified for life.
